Dr. Wendi Wells, DVM joined our team in August, 2015.  She graduated from the University of Missouri in 1995, and then completed an internship at the Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, OH.  Dr. Wells worked in Emergency Services for 5 years at the After Hours Emergency Clinic in Winston Salem, NC.  She has also worked in Emergency & Critical Care for 15 years at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro, NC.  Dr. Wendi Wells gives exceptional care to her patients, as well as providing the same care to their owners.  We are so honored and pleased to add her to our team here at Animal Care Clinic of Rural Hall.

Dr. Stephanie Byerly, DVM joined the team spring of 2017. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Dawgs!). She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro where she had extensive exposure to emergency medicine and surgery. After that, Dr. Byerly continued to practice emergency and critical care medicine in Asheville, NC. She loved the fast pace and challenging cases that emergency medicine had to offer, but missed the lasting personal relationships with clients and pets.
